This week I ate green chocolate chip cookies for breakfast….for those of you that know me… that should tell you what kind of a week it was. With the show over, my writing homework focused on details of Hoonah, Steve leaving for Juneau, finishing a ridiculous read for the book club, the cloudy days and the constant snow…green cookies seemed appropriate.
Despite the undercurrent of sadness, I pushed myself to write to you and through the activity of this blog, I realized I had a rich and abundance week for which I am very grateful.
Thank you for sharing this journey with me.
Here’s to counting my blessings…

So I am sitting here in Medford Oregon surrounded by a fresh blanket of snow and I suddenly think of you in Hoonah and the beautiful landscapes, people, and objects you have shared of your Hoonah. I think to myself how simple and enjoyable life would become if everyday was a snowy day. There is something about snow that brings a quiet peace to my environment. It makes me miss my home state of Utah.
I would have loved to see your production and your costume fits your temperament and demeanor. You are truly a "saint" in my eyes, full of goodness.
Andrew looks robust and energetic. Full of life and enjoying every ounce of his journey. Green cookies sound delish. My little guy Andrew misses him and he occasionally comes up in conversation, especially with baseball signups occurring right now.
We miss you and love reading your blog. We cyber snoop routinely and enjoy your eloquent ramblings. Take care and know you have friends here in Medford.
